Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI)

NMSU is a founding member of CAHSI, which explores pedagogical interventions to enhance Hispanic participation and retention in computer science. The core purpose of CAHSI is to create a unified voice in an effort to consolidate the strengths, resources, and concerns of CAHSI institutions that are committed to increase the number of Hispanics who pursue and complete baccalaureate and advanced degrees in computing areas.

Growing Up Thinking Scientifically (GUTS)

Project GUTS is a summer and after-school science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program for middle school students based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and serving New Mexico. Growing up thinking scientifically means learning to look at the world and ask questions, develop answers to the questions through scientific inquiry, and design solutions to their problems.

Scientifically-Connected Communities (SC2)

SC2 provides professional development to mathematics and science teachers from local school districts. The program is aimed at growing competency in inquiry-based teaching methods applied to scientific disciplines.
