The CS Department is excited to announce that Prof. Son Tran was selected to be the recipient of Hue and Pat McCoy Professorship Award! Dr. Tran exemplifies outstanding leadership and impact in research, as well as service to the department and the broader research community.
In light of the stated purpose of the professorship “recognizing the dedication of the faculty member to promoting and advancing the role of the department and of computer science within the institution and also in the greater research community”, Dr. Tran is highly active in advancing these goals and conducts research that is widely recognized and respected in the broader research community.
